RGV Concert Band

The RGV Concert Band delights listeners with a variety of musical styles such as the music from Rogers and Hammerstein and popular themes from movies like Star Wars. A variety of marches and traditional concert band literature is also offered at every concert. The Rio Grande Valley Concert Band is made up of all volunteers, primarily retired Winter Texans. Sixteen states are represented along with five Canadians provinces. The band practices each Saturday morning at Our Savior Lutheran Church in McAllen. The RGV Band is a non-profit organization which relies on donations to purchase it's music as well as some instruments.
